I Can Feel A Spring In My Step Coming...

Hey everyone! Although it doesn't feel like it, spring is just around the corner! So excited for it to start getting warmer so that I can wear a lot of clothes I haven't quite been able too because of the cold and stormy weather!

So with Spring so close I want to start buying and bringing out old clothes from my wardrobe in preparation for the (slightly) warmer weather and one thing I definitely need for the next season is some new shoes! You may/may not have seen already but I did a post similar to this asking for your help in helping me choose some new boots for the winter months so you can probably guess what's coming ;D

I have put together a few shoes that I really like and would love your help in helping me decide which ones would be most suitable as we approach Spring/Summer :D

Hope you enjoy this post and please feel free to leave your feedback below good or bad? Thanks!!! :) xxxx

Eyes like catwoman.

Hey everyone! Just a quick post to show you the beautiful new clothes I bought myself from American Apparel. I got them in Soho in the New York store basically because its a lot cheaper in America haha! I really wish that I'd bought myself a lot more from there now because it was such a good way to buy things from there!

As you may or may not already know I am a cat lover and so everything cats from clothes to jewellery I will most probably LOVE! Therefore I couldn't not buy this cat top from AA when I saw it could I? ;)

It was a bit pricey at $30 for a small top made from chiffon which for anyonewho doesn't know what it is, its a very thin material. But seeing as the exchange rate was fairly reasonable I just had to buy it.

I also bought a few other things whilst I was there such as the matte nail varnish because I wanted it but thought it was too pricey in England. I also bought a few things from Forever 21 and a few tourist shops whilst in New York too.

I love maxi skirts already but once I saw this chiffon maxi skirt in one of my favourite colours-burgundy I fell in love with it too and found that the two together looked quite nice (well in my opinion anyway).

Hopefully you agree and I hope you like what I bought too!!! :) xxx

Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of...

Hey everyone! If you can't already tell by the title of this post, this week I went to THE
BIG APPLE (NEW YOOOOOOOOOORK!!!)
It has always been one of those iconic places that everyone who has been tells you it is a MUST place to visit being one of the fashion central cities, and having seen it in tonnes of films I have always wanted to go.

I went with the art department at my college (as I study textiles) therefore we visited quite a few art galleries which was interesting. Unfortunately I caught the norovirus whilst I was out there and for anyone who has had it-knows that it is HORRIBLE!! So unfortunately I missed out on a day and a half of the trip which I was gutted about! :(

The rest of the trip was amazing though and we went on the Rockefeller tour which gave us the opportunity to learn about the cities artwork and history which was fascinating. The tour finished with a 'Top Of The Rock' experience which meant we got to experience the city from another level (70 floors up) which was breathtaking to say the least!

Finally we finished our trip with a little shopping in Soho ;) but we also went to Ground Zero which is something I will never forget, such an emotional and moving experience making me realise the important things in life which I may take for granted sometimes.

This was definitely a trip to remember and I would definitely recommend it as a place to visit. Not only for the iconic places like The Empire State Building, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero etc. But also the stunning architecture, atmosphere and different culture.

Hope you all enjoyed this post, comment if you did!!! :) xxx

Working 9 'till 5

Hey everyone! This week I am on work experience therefore probably won't be blogging a lot as it is quite tiring working literally from 9am until 5pm (well 5.30pm but still!)

In the past I have noticed on the trains going up to London in the morning that a lot of business men and women don't really make much of an effort with their work clothes fashion wise and when I started my work experience I didn't want to be one of those people to just wear black trousers and a blouse therefore I wanted to try and see how hard it was to find a nice outfit that is both acceptable in fashion and the workplace!
Here are the pictures of what I wore today and I hope that I achieved what I set out to do! Hope you all like I would love to know your opinions!!! :) xxx

NEW L'ORÉAL Paris Nude Magique BB Cream Review

Hey everyone! In this post I am going to be reviewing the NEW L'ORÉAL Paris Nude Magique BB Cream. A lot of brands of make up are bringing out these BB creams which promise to give all over coverage for blemishes, imperfections and lines. The BB creams combine the benefits of skin care and makeup to give you that 'flawless finish'.
I for one never use foundation as I am quite lucky to have relatively clear skin, *touch wood* apart from the odd spot which I normally cover up using a concealer, therefore have never really seen the point in using a foundation. However having seen loads of adverts from various brands of makeup all bringing out BB creams and the fact I am a sucker for free samples, I therefore decided to combine both and try a free sample of the L'ORÉAL Paris Nude Magique BB Cream.

I was excited to try it however once I opened the little sachet and put some on my hand I though they gave me the wrong thing as it came out a white-grey colour! However, once I started rubbing it into my hand it magically changed colour so I was nicely surprised there!

The cream itself was smooth in texture and went onto my skin nicely. I tried using a sponge to put it on but found it easier using my fingers. The cream gave me an even coverage overall and I am pleased with the results as it made my skin feel very soft. It also has SPF 15 in it which is good for the summer as it protects your skin at the same time! If I was to buy the cream I would have to buy a lighter colour as the colour was wrong for me and I did feel a bit tangoed! (The effects of which can be seen below on the sponge and the wipe) haha!

Although a fairly good cream overall, I don't think I will be purchasing it as I did feel as if it was caked on my face a tad but not sure if that's to do with the fact I don't wear foundation.
Hope you enjoyed this post!!! :) xxx
